Fundraising Open House for St. Jude's and Ashley Nelich

Massage Connection is hosting a Fundraising Open House on Saturday, August 19, 2006, from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, at 7050 Engle Road, Middleburg Heights, Ohio 44130, to benefit a local family with a child with cancer and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The family fun day will feature a “Servin’ It Up promotion with morning DJ, Michelle Maloney from WGAR, chair massages, and raffles for a team autographed Browns football, Browns and Indians tickets, and a children’s party package from Pump It Up ($250 value). A basket auction of donated gifts, services, and gift cards will benefit 4 year old Ashley Nelich.
Parma’s adorable Ashley, was diagnosed with bilateral Wilm’s Tumors (tumors in both kidneys) at 19 months old. After her first surgery and 6 months of chemotherapy she was re-diagnosed with the cancer and had to have a second surgery and 4 more months of aggressive chemotherapy. She was then in pre-remission for almost 1 year when another scan indicated her cancer had come back for a third time, making her the only one known to date for having this type of cancer relapse for a 3rd time. Another surgery and more very aggressive chemotherapy and radiation treatments for the past 8 months and the tumors are still present.
Massage Connection is reaching out to friends, to community, to help Ashley, her little sister Bryanna, and Mom, Jennifer. The financial and emotional strain on the family is overwhelming. With your help, we can help ease some of that burden. You can help by participating in the August 19th fundraiser or you can call and purchase raffle tickets beforehand. You do not need to be present to win.
As a special thank you, Massage Connection is giving contributors and volunteers gift certificates for a free ½ hour massage. Your help to make this a successful day for a very special little girl and her family and for supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is sincerely appreciated.
