Yarn, Yarn, Yarn, where are you?

The ladies at the Brunswick Rec Center crochet and knit lap blankets, slippers, scarves, hats, layettes, kidsets, etc for many deserving groups such as:

• Our soldiers in Iraq
• Our veterans hospitals
• Nursing homes
• Homes for unwed mothers
• Battered women & children's shelters
• Head Start of Medina

These ladies donate their time and energy to serve others by spending afternoons creating beautiful gifts to keep others warm.  Jeannette, their instructor, is a wonderful lady with a heart of gold.

They are in need of yarn - any kind of yarn - to continue their services.  Unfortunately, 2 large donated bags of yarn were stolen recently, leaving 30 ladies with knitting needles and nothing to knit.  Please drop your donations at the Brunswick Recreation Center, front desk or at Massage Connection in Middleburg Hts.
